Linda is committed to helping her clients lead better lives and overcome challenges that bring them to therapy. She provides counseling through the lens of Scripture and in conjunction with current psychological standards and research to individuals, couples and families.
Linda holds a Master’s degree in Community Agency Counseling from George Mason University and a Post Master’s certificate in Marriage and Family Therapy from Virginia Tech. She has seven years of experience in the mental health field offering a caring and supportive environment for clients to come and resolve their problems.
Linda’s primary modality of treatment is Lifespan Integration (LI).The most noticeable use of LI can be seen in the clearing of past or recent trauma. Client’s report they have found relief in a few sessions and felt better about life and were better able to handle intimate relationships.
Linda also uses Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples to help them learn valuable ways of communication that promote understanding and emotional closeness. EFT can help to heal marriages even after betrayal, broken trust and other hurts.
