The decision to enter therapy, perhaps for the first time, can be a watershed moment. The person you choose to go with you on that journey should match with who you are. I have sat with many people and families in my 20+ years in private practice. I believe in actively working with my clients so that they can reach their goals. I often give homework outside the sessions. I believe that your journey takes place both inside and outside of the time spent in session.

I work with children, teens, individual adults and with families. People have presented with mood disturbance, relationship issues, job difficulties, behavior problems, ADHD, and more. Families have come for help with transitions such as divorce, a geographic move, or the loss of a loved one.Teens show up with social concerns, academic difficulties, mood issues, and the question of what to do after High School.

I can also address trauma issues. Trauma happens in everyone’s lives, sometimes big, sometimes small.  I have been using “L.I.” for 15 years and have found it to be  effective in furthering long lasting changes for client’s lives.
