Heidi is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Washington State and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Idaho. She has received training from IITAP as a Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) and by APSATS in using the Multi Dimensional Treatment Model for betrayed partners. Heidi is an Attachment Focused EMDR (AF-EMDR) therapist and is trained in Brainspotting, both effective ways to treat trauma. Heidi is also in the process of pursuing certification by the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT is the gold standard for sex therapist certification). She is also certified to use Lifespan Integration Therapy (LI).
Heidi uses a wholistic approach and specializes in working with women, couples and teens who struggle with a wide variety of mental and behavioral health concerns. Heidi provides counseling and specializes in treating betrayal trauma and relational trauma as well as those experiencing symptoms of trauma due to the impact of religious abuse.

She has extensive experience providing therapeutic services to children, adolescent, and families both within community health, private practice, and school-based settings. In addition, she has experience working in both in-patient and out-patient medical settings working with adults that have complex medical and behavioral issues.
