Foundational to my approach is my belief in the importance of self-compassion and the idea that, while difficulty in life is inevitable, we have agency in how we process and cope. As your therapist, I seek to collaboratively discover healthy ways for you to weather life’s ups and downs and support you in finding ways to take ownership of your story and possibly re-write aspects of it that are not serving you.
I use an eclectic approach to therapy, pulling from narrative, strength-based, ACT, attachment-based, family systems, person-centered, and Lifespan Integration therapies. I find the combination of talk therapy and Lifespan Integration to be powerful and healing
