Goli Shifteh bases her counselling practice on the belief that the core of human development is both physiological and spiritual.
She uses a combination of somatic therapy (Lifespan Integration) to disentangle the roots of her clients’ past traumas and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help them change biased thought patterns and behaviors in the present.
Goli’s aspirations for this work were rooted in an understanding of the significance of spirituality in the field of psychology and by using the wisdom, humanity and compassion of Rumi (the 13th century Persian poet), she dared to explore the potential of this combination.
She strongly believes that this combination gives participants the strength and the tools necessary to affect change in their lives.
