I love what I do!  I spend my days being a part of an amazing journey.  Some days are filled with tears and anguish but there are many others with laughter and learning and growth.  The human spirit is amazing and resilient and I consider it a privilege to be invited into the life of each of my client’s.  I know it can be intimidating to walk into the office of a stranger with the intent to share the most personal details of your life.  I respect that, and I know that it is my job to earn your trust.

So, a little about me… I grew up in a small town of Northern California and lived there until I left for college.  I earned my Bachelor Degree in Psychology and my Masters in Marriage & Family Therapy.  Early in my career I worked specifically in the field of addiction, and I believe those early experiences helped build a foundation I carry into therapy today.   Quite often when we form addictive behaviors, it isn’t about the drug, food, or sex, but more about our need to alter how we are feeling in the moment.  Therapy is a powerful tool to help the individual address their pain rather than resorting to numbing or escaping it. My training as a therapist expanded my vision for healing relationships. Lifespan Integration (LI) therapy has been the the most powerful tool I have used in a therapeutic setting.  I have witnessed lives change.  LI has effectively healed many of my clients from trauma wounds and attachment issues.  I am continually amazed by the many issues that are resolved through the use of LI.
