I have been a psychotherapist for 40 years, and I have recently discovered Lifespan Integration. It is a powerful tool that I am incorporating into my practice. I work with individual adults and couples, with an emphasis on depth work: identifying core issues and stuck patterns and then working to resolve and heal them. Lifespan Integration, developed by Peggy Pace, and Focusing, developed by Gene Gendlin, are two of the approaches I use to work with the deeper core issues.
My marital and couples work incorporates the work of John Gottman, Susan Johnson, and Dan Wile. My style is active and directive, empathetic and compassionate. And it is collaborative: I work with people to help them discover their own strengths and wisdom.
